The hit Travel Channel series “Food Wars” made its way into Detroit recently to finally settle what has been a decades-long feud going on downtown.  The classic battle between Lafayette and American Coney Island has become one of the most storied rivalries here in the city as other shows like “Man vs. Food” and “Food Feuds” have all rolled in and tried their hand at documenting the battle and choosing a winner.  

You can catch the episode tonight, August 25th at 10pm, on the Travel Channel to find out who the judges (including Local 4’s Carmen Harlem) crowned victorious.  You can also check out some pictures from the event here.
