…make a documentary about Detroit?
There has definitely been a constant flow of positive Detroit docs and films rolling out as of late (Street Fighting Man & Detroit Lives!) and this next one, entitled “Lemonade, Detroit” which is directed and produced by Erik Proulx, looks to provide another inspiring look into Detroit’s future.
“Lemonade, Detroit” is a film about the disarming resilience of those who are moving Detroit beyond automobiles into an era of entrepreneurism.”
“Instead of sensationalizing blight, ‘Lemonade, Detroit’ will sensationalize hope…”
The documentary begs the provoking question: “If not cars, then what?” You can learn more about ‘Lemonade, Detroit’ on the film’s website here. The video below is a preview trailer of the film.
