We all know Billy Joel’s classic New York State of Mind and Jay Z and Alicia Key’s Empire State of Mind. Well, now there’s another one to throw into the mix, only this time the Motor City is getting all the attention.
Renaissance State of Mind, by Ro Spit and Monica Blaire, is a take on the 2009 hit Empire State of Mind but with a Detroit twist. I can’t say that I’m necessarily a fan, but nonetheless check out the video below and see what you think and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
