Ever wanted to get all the best the Motor City has to offer all in one conveniently located place?
Well, it’s your lucky day then…and you don’t even have to leave the suburbs.
Anyways, The Detroit Shoppe, the newest storefront at the Somerset Collection in Troy, opened it’s doors Monday and is offering up almost anything and everything that is Detroit for purchase. From Kid Rock’s Made In Detroit merchandise to items from the DIA, the Henry Ford Museum and Eastern Market.
But heres the kicker, you can’t procrastinate on this one because the store will only be open until January 23rd, which will also be the closing day for the auto show downtown.
You can bet, as soon as I get a chance to venture back home from East Lansing, visiting this store (with credit card in tow) will definitely be on my short list of things to do.
I smell a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping out of the way. Whether or not I actually buy stuff for anyone else is yet to be decided.
