Thanks and yes, you are absolutely right! There are definitely trucks out there already, however, the problem is that the current ordinances in place in the city make it difficult for these trucks to set up in high traffic areas (i.e. the New Center business district, around sporting stadiums and in the downtown area by the financial district). I should’ve specified in my post. I’ll be posting a follow-up to that original story from Crain’s Detroit along with a video I shot profiling two street car vendors that are having a hard time setting up shop. But thank you so much for the comment and reading the blog, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that! And great photos by the way! Where exactly in Southwest Detroit were they set up?
