Ever wanted to explore Detroit a little further or just learn about all of those great historical buildings in the city?  Well now’s your chance and you can start right from the comfort of your computer.  I came across this great new website BareBonesDetroit.com (which is currently still in it’s Beta stages).  Barebones is essentially Google Maps done up Detroit style and it highlights, not only all of the current buildings and landmarks still in use but many of the older, historical sites and buildings the need to be preserved instead of demolished.  It’s another great effort and positive sign that people in and around the city are ready to start rebuilding and Barebones is providing just that: the barebones foundation to begin the renewal.
