Forget summertime in northern Michigan, why not spend it right here in Detroit?  TIME magazine just recently posted their “Detroit Travel Guide” online with the Top 10 things to do in the city in 24 hours time.  Now, unfortunately, and perhaps not surprisingly, Detroit isn’t even remotely close to the top of the list (if it even made it on the list at all) of vacation destinations for summer travelers, but as it turns out the D offers up plenty to do once the hot weather rolls into town.

From the DIA to Eastern Market and Belle Isle, the city offers up a little somethin’-somethin’ for everyone.
